missingWrote a review on Dec 04plush mattressnice pool areahelpful staffmaintenance issuesbreakfast variety
I had a comfortable stay at Stoney Creek Inn. The plush mattress provided a great night's sleep, and the soft pillows added to the comfort. The pool area was a highlight, connecting indoors and out, which my kids loved. Staff members greeted me warmly and worked hard to make my experience enjoyable. Breakfast offered a decent selection. I appreciated the complimentary service. However, the breakfast did seem a bit plain compared to my previous experiences. Also, the lack of maintenance for the hot tub area was disappointing, especially since it has been out of order for a while. My room was clean upon arrival, but the floors in the bathroom needed a better clean. The hotel’s location along the river was nice, though a bit far from other attractions. Overall, I had a good time but noticed these areas for improvement.

The Junior Suite I stayed in was pretty spacious and offered a comfortable layout for a family. The cozy decor gave it a homey vibe, making it ideal for unwinding after a long day.
The experience at this place was marred by the pool situation. I had to fork out extra cash for wristbands for my kids to swim, only to find a raucous crowd ignoring rules, with no action taken despite complaints. The hot tub was swarmed with beer-toting guests, and my family hardly got to enjoy the amenities. On top of that, I was left disappointed that check-out only extended at an added cost, just to salvage some pool time. A heads-up on the restrictions would’ve been appreciated. Also, breakfast didn’t kick off until 7 AM, which is late compared to other spots I've been to, limiting my options in the morning.

Spacious Room and Great Breakfast
We had a lovely stay with a surprisingly spacious room that accommodated our family comfortably. The breakfast was a delightful spread with freshly made items, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the hot tub was out of service, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to relaxing there after a long day.
